ROCKFORD, Ill. — Saint Anthony College of Nursing (SACN) graduates exceeded both the state and national average pass rates in the nursing licensure examination. The National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) is a standardized exam that each state board of nursing
uses to determine whether or not a candidate is prepared for entry-level nursing practice. 95 percent
of Saint Anthony BSN graduates passed the exam in 2014 compared to the Illinois state pass rate of 84 percent and the national pass rate of 82 percent. Saint Anthony graduates are sought out by local and regional employers because of the excellent reputation the college has as producing knowledgeable, highly skilled and value driven nurses.
